Manchester City Against PSG in the Semifinal of the Champions League, Foden Challenges Mbappe

Manchester City player, Phil Foden, challenged Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe. The challenge was conveyed via social media after his team confirmed qualifying for the Champions League semifinals.

City advanced to the last four after eliminating Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals 4-2 on aggregate. In the second leg match which took place at Signal Iduna Park, Germany, Wednesday local time or Thursday morning WIB, 15 April 2021, Foden and his colleagues won 2-1.
In this match, like the first match last week, Foden was again the hero of victory. He scored the winner in the 75th minute following Riyad Mahrez's goal with a penalty that equalized in the 55th after falling behind in the 15th minute to a Jude Bellingham goal.

In the first leg match on Tuesday last week, City won a dramatic victory over Dortmund through Phil Foden's goal at the end of normal time after his lead through Kevin De Bruyne in the 19th minute was equalized by Marco Reus in the 84th minute.
After taking his team to the semifinals of the Champions League, Foden sent a message to Mbappe via social media, Twitter.
"Mbappe, are we ready," wrote Foden accompanied by a handshake emoji on his Twitter status.

The action of the English player, 20 years, also received attention from his fans. Among his fans thought that what Foden did was a good move to disturb the minds of the star-studded opposing team.
However, the messages posted on Twitter as well as Instagram were deleted after more than an hour and caught the attention of thousands of people.
Mirror Sport understands that Manchester City player Phil Foden may not know anything about the post as someone is in charge of managing his social media accounts. Even so, what had happened had annoyed the players and those closest to them.
Manchester City will face PSG in the semifinals of the Champions League in two matches, namely on April 28 and May 4, 2021 local time.
